There are many things we can say about the high quality of service we provide to our home seller and home buyer clients, but probably none would be as credible as testimonials from some of our recent clients themselves.

The following testimonials were returned to us on our "Customer Satisfaction Survey" forms. These forms are sent out after a buyer or seller has closed a transaction with our team. We quoted the clients exactly as written on the form. Thank you to all our clients and customers for their permission to print these testimonials and for their continued referrals and kind words.

I would like to share our story with you. First of all, I have always felt that you get the best service if you deal with small, local companies and I need to say that Allen and Selig did not disappoint us. Unfortunately, we knew from the beginning that we would not be able to sell the house for enough money to pay off all the debt we owed. It’s a difficult position to be in.

 We hired Janice Selig to represent us. She met with us several times, gave us advice and ideas on what to do to sell our home. She is extremely easy to talk to, has lots of knowledge and a great sense of humor. It took us 7 weeks to prepare the house and when we were done, it shined. We listed the house with Janice on Monday, April 28th. We asked her not to set up any showings until the following Sunday which was May 4th. This allowed us time to finish up some projects. The house was shown only three times and on May 12th, it was under contract, only 6 days from the time we started showing it. We couldn’t believe it! We never expected it to sell so quickly.

 Then the hard work began. The short sale process was a difficult one. It was a worrisome, stressful, throw your hands in the air kind of process. It involved applications, records of everything you can imagine, getting our signature notarized again and again, talking with the title company (they were terrific to work with), overnighting information to banks, calling banks, leaving messages time after time with no responses, then doing it again because even though we had delivery confirmation, we were told they never received the information. It was a grueling month long process right through closing day on June 19th. I thought I would feel sad when I signed the papers because I will miss a lot about that house but I was so relieved to sit in that office, sign the papers and know it was over.

 I want to Thank Janice Selig and her team for all their hard work and patience through this. She was wonderful to talk to, she knew when the stress was taking over and knew exactly when a hug was needed. Janice is a “real” person and cares about her clients. She is willing to go the extra mile to make things happen. She guided us and certainly did her share of calls to banks, working late into the evening when necessary. When it was all said and done, she walked away with much less commission than she should have gotten for the hard work she put into the sale of our home. Janice, Thank you for taking this on, especially when you knew at the onset it might not be a big producer for your firm.
